Exploiting her knowledge of crystallization mechanisms of PLLA, she studied the influence of crystals and chain aggregates on foaming and she reached the goal of tuning foam morphology and material thermal properties by simply vary processing conditions. She is currently studying the influence of CO2 on the conformation and thermal properties of PLLA.
