His Ph.D. studies comprised the development of new catalytic systems for a variety of environmental processes, particularly for the abatement of VOC and for use in the production and purification of hydrogen for fuel cells.
After that, he undertook postdoctoral research at the IPCB-CNR Catania Unit, acquiring experience in pyrolysis and biotechnological processes for converting waste biomasses into energy, as well as skills in chemical characterization of polymer matrices.
These skills were helpful in the work he carried out Plastica Alfa, where he designed and developed industrial plants to convert CO2 through biological processes.
Taking advantage of his industrial skills, he is working with EnjoiPol team on the in-service application of CrioPurA technology to remove toxic contaminants from industrial effluent wastewater.
