• Evaluation of mechanical properties of gels and biodegradable films for packaging;
• Soil burial degradation (Soil burial test) of polymer films;
• Loss of aromas (scalping) and migration of additives and monomers from packaging materials;
• Characterization and degradation of commercial and synthetic polymeric materials;
• Characterization of commercial and synthetic polymers by MALDI mass spectrometry;
• Study of the mechanisms and products of thermal degradation, photo- and thermo-oxidation of biodegradable polymers by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry;
• Study of mechanisms of fragmentation and structural analysis of synthetic polymers and copolymers by tandem mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF/TOF-MS/MS);
• Synthesis of polyalkylmethacrylates by ATRP;
• Characterization by SEC, NMR and MALDI of polymer matrices used for drug delivery;
• Drug delivery from synthetic and commercial polymer matrices.
